Are you between 6 and 10 years old and do you dare to go on an adventure without your parents? We are looking for young explorers for an exciting expedition to a large and extensive nature reserve: the beach. There is a lot to explore here. With guides from the Waddenvereniging you can go treasure digging, comb or discover which plants and animals live in the sand or in the sea. In addition, there is enough time for different games, strong stories and chilling out.

Anyone who visits Terschelling visits the only natural world heritage site in the Netherlands. The Wadden Sea is recognized worldwide as a unique nature reserve, something to be proud of. And that is certainly the Wadden Association! What makes the area so unique is best experienced during an excursion with one of our guides. During the summer months, the Wadden Association, together with enthusiastic volunteers, organizes activities on the mudflats and beach of Terschelling almost every day. There are various excursions: North Sea excursion, mudflat excursion (also during the "Golden Hour" in the evening and the "Awakening Wadden Sea" in the early morning), and the children's beach day. also a special mudflat tasting. Be welcome and experience the Wadden Sea World Heritage in a completely new and special way.
