Every year, the commemoration of perished Terschelling sailors takes place in the Westerkerk in West Terschelling.

After the commemoration in the church, there is a silent march to the seamen's monument for the laying of flowers and wreaths.Afterwards, all spectators are welcome to have a cup of coffee at Hotel Oepkes.

Children are welcome.
