Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 2 p.m., the annual commemoration of fallen Terschellinger sailors will take place in the Westerkerk in West-Terschelling. The church will open the doors at 1:30 PM. At 2:30 PM we will depart from the Westerkerk to the sailors monument, where we will leave flowers and wreaths. After a short ceremony there is an opportunity for a cup of coffee, tea or soft drink at hotel Oepkes.
