The 'Boertoer' is a recreational bike tour along the agricultural businesses of Terschelling. Take a look around the various farmyards and inside the barns of the farms. Each farm presents itself in its own unique way, offering a highly varied picture of everything the agricultural sector on Terschelling has to offer.

You can choose how to cycle the route or which farms to visit. From milking robots to meadow bird management, from dairy sheep to show jumping horses and foals, from contracting work to flowers, from tents to multicolored, red, brown, blue, or gray cows, from hamburger frying pans to cheese making: there is plenty to see.

Naturally, the inner person is not forgotten: at several farms, you can have something to eat or drink, as Terschelling agriculture turns its own products into very tasty treats.

So hop on your bike, follow the route, ride into a yard with a BoerToer sign, and be surprised! The participating farms can be recognized by the BoerToer sign at the yard, and at each participating farm, you can get a free booklet that shows the route to the other farms.
