Terschelling is alive!
Terschelling is rich in art, culture and theater. The most famous event is the street and theater festival Oerol in June, but of course there is much more to do, to see and to experience!

Many islanders create beautiful works of art. In October, these can be viewed during Kunst in de Kerk, an event held in the church in Midsland. There is also De Horizontoer, where various performances are provided, and in West-Terschelling you can find museum het Behouden Huys, where everything related to cultural history can be seen. Films and performances
Besides art, culture and theater on the island, Terschelling offers the Film Days in November. A weekend of watching films on various atmospheric locations on Terschelling. But also outside this weekend there are films to be seen in other periods.
No lack of performances either. Hessel & Tess, perform throughout the year in café de Groene Weide in Hoorn.
